No matter how much my life changed after the explosion, Iโll always be proud of the years I spent serving my country in the military. Losing my leg and coming home in a wheelchair changed my life in ways I never imagined. There were days I struggled to find purpose, but I never stopped believing that God had a plan for me. Working with my hands helped me find peace again, and I began making these Handmade Wooden Jesus Cross Necklaces, carefully shaping and finishing each one as a reminder that even in our darkest moments, God never abandons us. I may have lost my leg, but I never lost my faith. Thank you to everyone who supports my handmade work through an order, a share, or a kind word. I'll also set aside a portion of every order to help unemployed and disabled veterans rebuild their lives and find hope again. May God bless you and your family. ๐โ๏ธ
More than a wooden necklace, this crucifix is a personal symbol of faith, resilience, and the strength to keep moving forward. Each piece is shaped, carved, sanded, and finished by hand, with the natural grain of the wood making every cross slightly unique. To me, it represents the faith that carried me through the hardest chapter of my life and the second chance that followed. Whether you wear it every day, keep it close during difficult moments, or give it to someone you love, I hope this cross serves as a quiet reminder that faith can still lead us forward when the road feels uncertain.
I carefully shape, carve, sand, and finish every crucifix by hand. It is not an ordinary mass-produced piece made without meaning. I follow the natural grain of the wood as I work, giving each cross its own character, while the carved figure of Jesus adds depth and detail. To me, the crucifix represents faith, sacrifice, and redemption, and the simple wooden finish gives it a humble, timeless appearance. Because I make each piece by hand, small variations in grain and tone make every necklace slightly unique.
I make each crucifix necklace to be simple, meaningful, and easy to keep close throughout the day. I carefully sand and finish the wood by hand so the cross feels smooth and comfortable to wear. Whether you wear it during prayer, to church, while traveling, through difficult moments, or simply as an everyday reminder of your faith, I hope it becomes something you can carry with you wherever life takes you.
This crucifix necklace makes a meaningful gift for a father, husband, brother, son, friend, fellow veteran, or anyone who holds their Christian faith close. I hope each cross can be more than something they simply wearโit can be kept close during prayer, carried through difficult seasons, and treasured as a reminder of faith, sacrifice, hope, and the strength to keep moving forward.
